Research funded by European Research Council ERC

The University of Helsinki receives competitive research funding annually. One of the most competed and esteemed grants comes from European Research Council (ERC). Their grants support individual researchers of any nationality and age across all fields of science. The criterion for selection is scientific excellence. Fundings are granted for researchers in three different categories: starters, consolidators and advanced.
