WELLS Finland team participates in NORDEEP Deep Tech Summit 2023, focusing on exploring new pilot partnerships

WELLS R2B team takes part in the world’s largest deep tech conference NORDEEP this week. We aim to actively showcase our innovative well-being and working life skills solution and discuss piloting options and new partnerships. This event, known for bringing together pioneers in the deep tech industry, is the first larger scale representation of the newly formed team and B2B-oriented solution to the world.

The WELLS solution is designed to address the significant and growing challenge of deteriorating mental wellbeing in work organizations. It offers a unique combination of wellbeing and working life skills in an accessible form that also provides social peer support. The team hopes to demonstrate the potential of their solution to attendees and, more importantly, attract new companies interested in piloting it in with their employees.

From science to business

WELLS Finland has done years of research and developed an innovative, preventive and scalable solution that has the potential to transform the way mental health is approached in work organizations. Solution takes long researched skill combination of psychological flexibility and combines it with essential working skills applicable in most workplaces today. The integrative intervention is brought to users in a digital and socially engaging way. Participation in the Deep Tech Summit Oct 11-12, 2023, underscores the team’s commitment to finding like-minded companies to pilot the solution.

Team focusing on finding piloting opportunities and partners

During the summit the WELLS team will be actively engaging with industry leaders, investors, and potential partners to discuss not only pilot opportunities but also explore potential financing and partnership possibilities.

Nina Katajavuori, one of the WELLS leading researchers and developers of the WELLS solution, expressed her enthusiasm for the summit, saying; "I'm looking forward to learning new things about research-based business - and finding new partners. In well-being issues, cooperation is very important, and we do our best to build strong networks with other actors with the same mission - already in the initial stages of business planning."

Aino Muhonen, WELLS Business Development Lead says: “It’s very interesting to bring this kind of human-centered solution available in the technologically oriented business summit. Even though technology plays an important role in the delivery of the solution to users also in WELLS, the deep knowledge it encompasses lies heavily on psychological and pedagogical understanding. We’ve already during the first months of the R2B project managed to commit big companies to pilot with WELLS and are very excited to see the response we get from discussions in NORDEEP”.

The team is confident that their innovative approach and expertise will resonate with decision-makers looking to stay ahead of the curve in the modern way of building and maintaining employee wellbeing.
