MSc in Human Nutrition with a background in research and grant management. In addition, international experience from student exchanges in Laos and Australia.
Responsible for project's coordination, communication and administration.
Prof. Ndegwa Maina is a member of the project board and facilitates the procurement of laboratory equipment and materials, as well as their installation and validation.
Dr. Liisa Korkalo participates in the development of digital dietary and food safety assessment tools, teacher training, and the creation of online platform content. Specifically, she will lead the activities related to updating the food composition data and recipe calculations incorporated into DASAT, as well as the development of new food photographs for portion size assessment.
Dr. Riitta Freese is involved in planning and developing the teaching materials and in training the lecturers.
Prof. Mikael Fogelholm contributes to the overall planning, supervision, and implementation of the project. In particular, he is involved in designing the course using the digital platform, as well as project communication.
Dr. Lucas Pinto da Silva is responsible for analytical development and training.
