During June, the project team has made progress regarding the development of the dietary and food sample data collection study protocol, food hazards literature review needed for the Dietary and Food Safety Assessment Tool (DASAT) development, and laboratory equipment procurement process. Different meetings, such as the project board meeting, coordinators' meeting, and various working group meetings, have also taken place. Additionally, the coordinators attended a meeting organized by the Finnish National Agency for Education, which focused on the human rights perspective in the Higher Education Partnership projects.
In July, we aim to finalize the study protocol and other requirements for the study approval application, proceed with the laboratory equipment procurement, update the literature review on toxins and pesticides as well as discuss potential digital platforms for the upcoming learning materials.
