A key priority of this collaboration is the precise calculation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, focusing on meeting the European Union's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (EU CSRD). This will ensure transparency and accountability in Molokia's environmental impact reporting.

Energy Focus

Power flow tracing with ELEKS DAKAR leveraging ELEKS' innovative DAKAR technology, the partnership will track the power flow of energy consumption to pinpoint exact sources and calculate GHG emissions based on actual primary data. This approach provides a more transparent, more accurate picture of environmental impact, moving beyond average estimates.

The partnership was established through the , an innovative research and pilot initiative funded by EIT Food, a European Institute for Innovation and Technology branch. COVERE² is dedicated to developing solutions for collecting and verifying GHG emissions data in agri-food production. By promoting collaboration among organisations, the project seeks to elevate sustainability practices, facilitate the exchange of best practices, and increase the visibility of sustainability efforts across various industries.

The collaboration will encourage healthier eating habits while raising awareness about the importance of sustainable food choices. It will also highlight how food can support mental well-being and strengthen community resilience.
