The University of Helsinki’s network of research stations stretches from the Baltic Sea in the south through the forests and lakes of Finland into the treeless north of Lapland. Research stations enable important field work in nature, work that cannot be conducted in any office.
The stations provide continuous and valuable environmental measurements spanning over more than a century. At every station, researchers are working to solve the questions of tomorrow.
