New professors’ inaugural lectures, 28 May 2025

The new professors at the University of Helsinki will present the latest research findings in their fields on Wednesday, 28 May from 14.30 to 16.30. The inaugural lectures will be held in the Main Building at Fabianinkatu 33. The lectures are also available for livestreaming.

Following the above lectures, Professor of Media and Communications Mats Bergman will give his inaugural lecture at an inauguration ceremony starting at 17.00 in the University’s Great Hall. After the ceremony, the audience is welcome to attend a reception held in the Main Building foyers. A cloakroom is located at Aleksanterinkatu 5.
