Anders Ekholm appointed University of Helsinki chief investment officer

DSc (Economics) Anders Ekholm, docent of finance, has been appointed chief investment officer at the University of Helsinki from 16 April 2018.

Previously, Ekholm has primarily worked as a researcher, investment manager and entrepreneur. He has approximately 20 years of experience from the capital markets. 

The chief investment officer is responsible for the securities portfolios of the University of Helsinki and the University of Helsinki Funds. The chief investment officer also attends to the University of Helsinki Group’s investments in companies established based on the University’s research. One of the goals of the University’s investment activities is to focus increasingly on responsible investments.

Anders Ekholm has been a member of the University of Helsinki Investment Committee since 2016.
