Activities
Here you can find information on the Nordic EPOS activities that are workshops, tutorials, demonstrations and actual and virtual training sessions.

Nordic EPOS activities are advertised also via Nordic EPOS emailing list and via EPOS and national RI websites, public lectures, seminars and short articles in expert journals. Most activities take place at or back-to-back with local, national and international conferences, meetings, workshops or seminar series.

Workshop: Rock Physics and Damage

This free-of-charge workshop covers basic and advanced topics of rock deformation and damage rheology and targets MSc students, PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and researchers and professionals in related fields.

Training: EPOS-Norway Data Portal virtual training session 10 November 2021 Online

During the training, tutorial videos were introduced followed by interactive online sessions where participants worked on scientific use cases in the EPOS-Norway Data Portal.

The EPOS-N training session was open to all and free of charge, registration was required. More information on the leaflet.

Advanced processing of seismological data - workshop organized prior to Nordic Seismology Seminar 28 - 30 September 2020 Online

Different data sets will be prepared to be analysed with the SEISAN software, on induced seismicity, Arctic applications and for general use. Participants are encouraged to bring their own data.
