FIMM HiPREP Single Cell Sample Preparation is a service of the FIMM Technology Centre.

We offer a well-equipped laboratory available for bookings (OpenIRIS) to prepare single cell suspension samples and run quality control before single cell analytics. We are part of HiLIFE Single Cell Omics platform and work in close collaboration with FIMM Single-Cell Analytics core. For spatial transcriptomics quality control (Visium), we collaborate with FIMM DP unit (request services via this E-form). In addition, we collaborate with FIMM Flow Cytometry Unit

Access to the single cell sample preparation laboratory 

The single cell sample preparation laboratory is located next to FIMM Single-Cell analytics core enabling quick access to sequencing after sample preparation. New customers can apply for a usership and book the laboratory through the OpenIRIS system. Instructions to the OpenIRIS can be found here (XWiki OpenIRIS). HiPREP personnel trains all new users before starting. Access key to the room can be obtained from the HiPREP core and should be returned after the work is finished. 

 

Spatial transcriptomics quality control service

Spatial transcriptomics (Visium) is a high-end technique that requires stringent quality control before starting the actual experiment. For performing the quality control of fresh frozen or FFPE tissues, you can request sectioning, RNA-isolation and quality control services via this E-form. Sectioning is performed at the FIMM DP unit, with direct delivery of the sections for RNA isolation and quality control at the FIMM HiPREP Core.
