Group study facilities

The group study facilities can only be reserved by the students and staff of the University of Helsinki. All the Helsinki University Library sites and both learning centres have group study facilities for students to use.
Rules for the group study rooms

The group study facilities in the University learning centres and Helsinki University Library can only be reserved by the students and staff of the University. The facilities are meant for group study – you may not reserve them for your personal use, public meetings or teaching. If you have agreed individual arrangements with the library, it is also possible to reserve the facility for your own use for 2 hours/day.

The group study facilities are available for use during the opening hours of the library sites and the learning centre.

To make a reservation, you need the University’s Office365 account and calendar. Group study room can be reserved for maximum of 2 hours/person/day. Longer bookings can be cancelled without further notice. A reservation expires 30 minutes after its starting time if none of the members of the group have arrived.

You may use the space temporarily if it is not reserved. However, users with a reservation always take precedence.

Keep the facilities tidy and clean up after yourself.
