In research on diagnostic imaging, a diverse range of imaging techniques is utilised. The unit has at its disposal digital X-ray devices for small animals and horses, state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment as well as CT and MRI imaging equipment suited to scanning small animals.
A central goal of research in the field is to promote practical diagnostics in patient care. The researchers actively collaborate with the other departments of the Faculty and international collaboration partners in the field of veterinary medicine.
