Archaeology at the University of Helsinki is a research-intensive discipline with strong national and international engagement. Our teaching and research span archaeological theory and field methods, including maritime archaeology and scientific approaches. Working closely with partners across the University and beyond, we place strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and societal relevance.
