We want to take this space and time to thank all the WERN 2018 participants, plenary speakers, panelists, organizers, volunteers, reception hosts, caterers - and really just everyone who came together to make this conference such a success!

This conference really felt profound not only in the prestige line of World-ecology research network conferences but to the development of academic thought and to the human processes in the world-ecology conversation. We hope all the participants utilize, to the best of their professional ability, the learning, and connections made at the conference in Helsinki. We hope everyone involved will return at the next WERN conference, in San Francisco, California, in 2019.
