From Treasure Hunters to Citizen Scientists workshop series aims to examine the various citizen science and heritage management challenges presented by metal-detecting, specifically through engagement and consultation with diverse audiences and stake-holder groups specifically in the Nordic countries. The series consists of three workshops organised by the University of Helsinki, Finland (2nd-3rd June 2022), the University Museum of Bergen, Norway (6-7th October 2022) and Århus University, Denmark (27-28th April 2023). This workshop series is funded by the Nordisk samarbeitsnemnd for humanistisk og samfunnsviteskapelig forskning (NOS-HS) grant no. 335213.
