The 19th Annual Aleksanteri Conference in Helsinki was one of the most vibrant of all our conferences.

We are extremely thankful for all the participants and volunteers, and positive that the inspiring discussions lead to new ways of cooperation for the further development of both Russian and Eurasian Studies and Digital Humanities. While we are waiting for the more substantial outcomes of the conference, here are some photos to remind you of the spirit of #Aleksanteri2019.

The Happiest Conference Memories

The 19th Aleksanteri Conference was not only thought provoking and intellectually refreshing but also inspiring and fun. We caught so many beautiful smiles on what passes for film in this digital age, that we decided to make on more photo gallery for you. May these happy memories carry you through the winter's darkness and motivate you to send in brilliant proposals for #Aleksanteri2020: Eurasia and Global Migration, once the Call for Papers is published in February 2020!
