The Northern Lights Neuroscience Symposium 2024 entitled “Expanding Spectrum of Common Dementia Disorders” brings together researchers and medical professionals interested in novel disease entities and subtypes of common dementia disorders. Keynote lectures on neuropathological and clinical aspects of new entities such as LATE and PART as well as subtypes of AD and LBD are scheduled for a two day event in Hanasaari, a small island located a short distance away from the center of Helsinki with the beautiful Finnish archipelago just outside the window.
The Scandinavian Neuropathological Society has organized a series of symposia called “Northern Lights Neuroscience Symposium” since the 1980s. At the meetings the scientific program focuses on one single topic of significant neuropathological interest presented by top international speakers.
