If you have any questions or need more information concerning the conference, please do not hesitate to contact us at: healthlaw@helsinki.fi.
The conference will be held at the University of Helsinki City Centre Campus in the Main building, Small Banquet Hall (F4050).
The main building of the University of Helsinki (venue) is easily accessible by train, metro, bus and tram. The Main railway station and the Helsinki University metro stop are a short walk away.
Lunch and Coffee
Lunch is not sponsored by the organizing committee, but you will find many shops and restaurants nearby the conference venue. There's always the possibility of eating at the main building's cafeteria (first floor).
Besides that, you may find here some recommendations:
Unicafe Porthania (Yliopistonkatu 3), Budget-friendly buffet
Unicafe Kaisa-talo (Vuorikatu 7), Soup and salad
Think Corner Cafe (Yliopistonkatu 4), Vegan soup and salad
Restaurant Sofia (Aleksanterinkatu 28), Two lunch alternatives daily, one of which is vegan
Kluuvi (Aleksanterinkatu 9), Many restaurants and cafes to choose from
Helsinki City Hall Cafeteria (Sofiankatu 1-3, entry from the Courtyard), Buffet-style lunch, including vegan options and dessert and coffee
In downtown Helsinki, most restaurants provide a lunch menu, with prices ranging, outside the Unicafe ones (which belong to the University's student union and are slightly cheaper), between 12 and 15 euros, usually including a salad buffet and coffee.
For other suggestions (including dinner or restaurants for a longer stay), feel free to contact the organizers.
