The most convenient (and the cheapest) travel option from the Helsinki airport to the Helsinki central railway station (and back) is by local train. The airport is served by two train lines, I and P, that both end up in the city center. The trains run from 5am to midnight, the travel time is approximately 30 minutes and the trains depart every 10 minutes. To travel between Helsinki airport and the Helsinki city center, purchase ABC zone ticket that costs 4.10€ (A zone for city center, C zone is where the airport locates). Tickets can be purchased from vending machines at the airport and the central railway station, but if you plan to use public transport during your stay in Helsinki (for instance to the hackathon venue), it is recommended to install the

Taxi from the airport to the city center costs approximately 35-50€ and depends on the operator.
The Symposium Venue is in the Helsinki City Center and thus conveniently located to numerous hotels. We have not booked rooms for symposium participants as there should be plenty of options available during the CytoData 2023 dates. Here are a few suggestions:
