The symposium is targeted both as an introduction to precision medicine as well as a demonstration of advancements in large-scale sequencing initiatives and their potential towards implementing precision medicine in clinical settings. As such, the events are open to the entire scientific community as well as clinicians. Doctoral candidates and MD students wishing to learn about precision medicine in common/complex diseases, especially in relation to utilizing large-scale data mining and computation, are encouraged to attend.
Please note that the best poster and talk (by a doctoral candidate/ post doc) will be awarded!
