The ePerMed- ‘Rise of scientific excellence and collaboration for implementing personalised medicine in Estonia’ project is an EU funded H2020-Twinning project aiming to increase the scientific excellence of the Estonian Genome Center of Tartu University (EGC-UT) in Estonia in the fields of functional and statistical genomics of common and rare diseases by capitalizing on knowledge transfer from two internationally renowned partners in the field of human and medical genomics: the Center for Integrative Genomics of University of Lausanne (UNIL-CIG) in Switzerland and Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland of University of Helsinki (UH-FIMM) in Finland. Transfer of knowledge is facilitated through various ways including staff exchange and joint event organization and participation.
