See below for practical information about the symposium. More information will be published closer to the event.

If you have any questions or need more information concerning the AFinLA autumn symposium 2022, please do not hesitate to contact us:

Registration for the symposium will be opened in August after decisions about proposals have been made.

Registration fees (VAT 0%):

  • AFinLA members: 75 eur
  • Students: 45 eur
  • Others: 100 eur

Please note that the presenters at the AFinLA Autumn Symposium must be members of either AFinLA or other affiliate organisations of AILA. If a presentation or a poster is a collaboration of many authors, at least one of the authors must be a member. However, all workshop convenors must be members. For information on how to become a member of AFinLA, please visit AFinLA’s website.

The fee includes:

  • participation in the AFinLA Autumn Symposium 2022 events (Thu-Sat)
  • coffee/tea as stated in the programme
  • University of Helsinki reception on Thursday evening

The fee does not include:

  • lunches
  • conference dinner on Friday evening (to be booked separately when registering)
  • accommodation

Please note that while some workshops may have a remote component and it may thus be possible to follow some individual presentations remotely, we are not planning a wide-scale hybrid event. This said, we will follow the covid-19 situation closely and inform you in case we need to move the whole event online.

We follow the University of Helsinki guidelines on data protection. Read more about how personal data are processed at events organised at the University of Helsinki here (in Finnish).
