International Association for Assyriology (IAA) members whose membership is active at the time of registration are entitled to a reduced fee.
Students who are enrolled in an institution for BA, MA or PhD studies, are eligible for a reduced fee. Please be prepared to present proof of student status at the conference reception desk.
Early bird registration closes on April 15. Normal fees are in effect from April 16 to May 15. Late registration closes on June 15. Please note that all accepted speakers must register during the early bird or normal registration period.

100% payment to be made if fees not paid at the time of cancellation. No-show is not considered a cancellation. Denial of a visa application to Finland does not entitle to any refunds.
The conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the conference. The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind so please check the validity and coverage of your own travel insurance.
The organisers do not take responsibility for force majeure reasons for cancellation of the event (natural disaster, outbreak of severe contagious epidemic, major strikes etc.). In such case, the organising committee will decide upon refunding of paid fees.
The conference organiser has booked room quotas for the conference participants in the following hotels. The below mentioned prices are only valid for reservations made via the registration form. Early reservation of accommodation is recommended.
To guarantee your hotel reservation, a deposit of one night's room rate is required. The deposit will be deducted from the total accommodation cost, that is to be settled at the hotel upon departure.
The hotel room rates include VAT and breakfast. Rooms are reserved on a first come - first served basis. For late bookings, availability can’t be guaranteed.
