The Aleksanteri Institute invites applications for its Visiting Fellowships for the academic year 2023–2024. We welcome scholars who reside outside Finland, hold a PhD degree, and pursue research that relates to the Institute's research profile to apply and join us for two-month research visits (and with some exceptions specified in the call for proposals, for three-months).
The Fellowship provides an excellent opportunity to conduct research and to benefit from interaction with the Eastern European, Eurasian, and Russian studies community in Finland. Each Visiting Fellow will have academic hosts who facilitate integration into the local academic scene. The Fellowship carries a monthly grant.
