Are you enrolled in a Finnish university? Would you like to specialise in Eastern Europe (incl. Ukraine, countries in Eastern Central Europe and South-Eastern Europe, the Baltic countries), Russia, Central Asia or the Southern Caucasus in your master’s? ExpREES’s master's-level specialization program offers you the opportunity to deepen your multidisciplinary expertise in these regions and network with other students and researchers interested in the same areas. The call for applications for the program opens in March 2026. As part of the application form, we ask for a brief preliminary plan for your master's thesis, including the title, topic, approach, and why the topic interests you. The plan does not need to be final, and it can be modified later as your studies progress. Further information and the application form will be published here when the call for applications opens.
