These instructions apply to you if you are applying to programmes that begin in autumn 2020.
When you send your application, the application system gives your application a number. There are two kinds of application numbers:
an application number that consists of six number sequences separated by dots, e.g. "220.127.116.112.11.00000000000000123456"
an application number that consists of the letters "UH" and seven numbers, e.g. "UH1604229"
There are several means for you to find out your own application number.
From an e-mail message sent to you
When you have sent your application, you will receive an automatically generated confirmation message by email. The subject of the email is ”Studyinfo: Your application has been received” or ”Your application to University of Helsinki, Master’s programme in…”. You find your application number either in the subject field or in the beginning of the email message.
In a certain stage of the admission process, the University of Helsinki Admissions Services will send you an email message with one of the following subjects:
”University of Helsinki offers you a study place”
”Decision regarding admission”
You find your application number in that message.
Through the My Studyinfo -service
If you have applied to a programme other than a Master’s programme in English, you find your application number by logging in to the My Studyinfo -service.
By contacting the Admissions Services
If you cannot find your application number by any of the means listed above, you can contact the Admission Services and ask for your number.
