Meilahti Campus
Meilahti Campus is one of the best medical campuses in Europe, brings top research, teaching and medical care together every day. The core of the campus work is the close cooperation between the University of Helsinki’s Faculty of Medicine, the Helsinki Institute of Life Science (HiLIFE) and the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) to provide the very best for its patients.
Location and getting there

Meilahti campus is located in the west of the centre of Helsinki. There are many apartment buildings in the area, but it is known for its large hospital area. Connections by public transport are good. The route guide for the city of Helsinki provides information to facilitate the planning and execution of the trip. Major operators on campus

The Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki, offers the undergraduate degrees of Licentiate of Medicine, Licentiate of Dentistry, and Master of Science (graduates from the international Master’s Programme in Translational Medicine). The undergraduate degrees of the Faculty of Medicine will also include the degrees of Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and Master of Arts (Psychology) as well as the degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts with a major in logopedics. 

At HUS Helsinki University Hospital more than half a million patients receive medical care annually. HUS have 25,000 professionals working for the best of all patients. HUS is responsible for providing specialized health care for the residents of our 24 member municipalities.

HiLIFE Helsinki Institute of Life Science is a new institute established in 2017 that supports high quality life science research across the University campuses and faculties.
