Kumpula campus is located only four kilometres from the centre of Helsinki. Kumpula is well connected to public transportation. Use the HSL Journey Planner to plot your way there.
Parking is possible on the street or in dedicated parking spaces for short-term use. The dedicated spaces are marked as "vieraspaikka" and they are found on the parking areas near Exactum. NB! Remember to inform the porter about your car's registration number.
The Kumpula Campus focuses on research and teaching in the exact natural sciences.
In addition to the University of Helsinki, there are many other organisations in the Kumpula campus area. The Finnish Meteorological Institute and the Traficom, Ministry of Transport and Communications, and several companies are located in the campus.

There are three Unicafe restaurants at the Campus. The Physicum building houses a science library, with collections covering a wide range of literature from the natural sciences. The Helsinki University Main Library is located in the Kaisa House, on the City Centre campus.
