COVERE² stands for "Collecting, verifying, reporting and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions". In this project, the team will develop a solution to collect and verify the GHG emissions data in agri-food production, as the greatest potential for GHG emissions reduction in the European Union is to be found in the agricultural sector. During the piloting phase, the focus will be on the milk and dairy industry.
Consortium is composed of the University of Helsinki, which is coordinating the project, ELEKS a Top 100 Global Outsourcing Company and a world-leading expert in software innovation from Estonia, Vitagora an agri-food innovation cluster from France, and Malta College of Arts Science and Technology (Malta).
