The Terrestrial Ecosystem Dynamics Research Group (Tree-D Lab) conducts both basic and applied research to explore how terrestrial ecosystems respond to global changes. By integrating advanced geospatial technologies—such as terrestrial laser scanners, drone-mounted sensors, satellite imagery, and field-based measurements—our team investigates the intricate interactions among natural ecosystems, human activities, and climate. Our work spans diverse regions—from Boreal to Tropical forests and from natural to urban environments—providing critical insights into the biophysical dynamics of ecosystems over time and space.
