The 2025 programme of the , led by Viikki Food Design Factory and focused on circular solutions for food systems, culminates in a dynamic Demo Day on November 19—organized as a side event of Slush. The event will bring together 11 innovative startups from the Helsinki Hub and 9 teams from the Warsaw Hub, who are developing cutting-edge solutions for resilient agriculture.

Come see the Food Systems pitching competition at Y Science, a signature side event of Slush, where the four finalists from the Data for Farm Value global challenge will pitch their data-driven solutions that create real value for farmers.

Attendance is free of charge (no Slush pass needed) but registration is required.

Viikki Local Food Fair returns this summer with a special Harvest Edition! Come celebrate the season and enjoy a relaxed afternoon filled with delicious flavors from local producers in the scenic setting of Viikki’s research farm, right behind CoolHead Brew.

Come sample foods and goods from local producers at the Viikki Local Food Fair on CoolHead Brew's backyard (Koetilantie 1) on June 17, 2025 starting from 4 PM. 

The Food Startup Coworking Days are organizes every second Thursday of the month in Viikki starting from March 13, 2025. 

Are you a startupper in the food systems field? Join a coworking day, connect with other entrepreneurs and get peer support in a relaxed atmosphere.

Viikki Food Design Factory celebrated the opening of its community space and lab facilities in Viikki on 21.4.2022 together with food system transformation makers and innovation ecosystem builders: researchers, students, startups, companies and investors.
