Open Seminar: The Role of Academia in Transition to Sustainable Food Systems - 4th of April, 2022 at 13 - 15:30 CET

What kind of role(s) the academia has in nudging the food system to a more sustainable path? Come to listen what scholars from five different universities have to say about it!

This year, five out of nine European universities belonging to a unique alliance Una Europa, have targeted the role of academia in transition to sustainable food systems under a seed project of the same title. Those universities are: University of Helsinki, Free University of Berlin, University of Bologna, University of Edinburgh and Complutense University of Madrid.

We would like to warmly welcome you to join the first seminar prepared by the consortium where we will seek for the answers to the three questions presented below.

How can universities improve the resilience of the food system?

What academic dimensions contribute the most to sustainable food systems?

How can universities support policies and collaboration among different stakeholders?
