The Ruralia Institute operates under the auspices of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry of the University of Helsinki and has units in Mikkeli and Seinäjoki. The institute fulfills its mission by conducting interdisciplinary research, participating in education, and developing solutions to promote entrepreneurship and well-being through networking and creating open learning environments.
