The target groups of the seminar are: Rural Lifestyle entrepreneurs and those planning to set up a Rural Lifestyle business, travel agencies and tour operators, local destination developers, tourism professionals, educators, students and all interested parties.
Our aim is to broaden the tourism market in our destinations and learn for whom and how we should design our attractive Rural Lifestyle packages.
- On 23rd August 2022, the Japan Tourism Market Seminar will be held, at 10:30-12:00 Estonian, Latvian, Finnish time; 9:30-11:00 Swedish time; 16:30-18:00 Japanese time, lecturer Mr. Shigeyoshi Noto.
- On 9th September 2022, there will be a seminar on the tourism market in Thailand, moderated by S.Noto, 10:30-12:00 Estonian, Latvian, Finnish time; 9:30-11:00 Swedish time; 16:30-18:00 Japanese time, lecturer Axel Blom.

Short introduction of lecturers:
Mr. Shigeyoshi Noto
Shigeyoshi Noto started carrier of tourism promotion at Visit Finland as marketing manager in 1994 after working for a major Japanese travel agency for 10 years. He became country manager of Visit Finland in 1996 and increase the overnights by Japanese from 55000 to 230000 in 20 years with innovative ideas of products and promotions. After re-organization of Visit Finland in 2009, he established Foresight Marketing Co., Ltd. and started to promote other countries such as Baltic states and several EU projects.
