Sari Sarome-Nykänen from Lecloop speaks at GENGREEN project event (live/Teams) on 14 April 2026 about how an entrepreneur’s “success” can be defined in business, beyond profit alone. Non-economic dimensions of success can directly influence a company’s financial performance.
The aim of the lecture is to offer a practical and research-based perspective on how the meaning of success evolves throughout a company’s lifecycle.
The lecture explores how and why integrating success-measurement practices is essential for building a competitive business and brand while delivering on a value-based promise.

WORKSHOP AFTER LECTURE:
The event starts with a English-speaking lecture (via Teams and at Skaalaamo). After lecture we continue with a Finnish-speaking on-site workshop in Seinäjoki for entrepreneurs (25 seats).
Workshop starts at 2:30PM and takes 1h-1,5h. There we practice defining what success means for your business. We explore practical ways of measuring success that crate value for your company and support your business objectives.

What is GENGREEN? The project is all about closing the small-business and gender gap through education for green sustainable and competitive growth. Its main objective is to support 50 female entrepreneurs spread across Southern and Central Ostrobothnia, Lapland, Norrbotten, Tromsø, and Finnmark to launch green businesses or to make their companies more sustainable. It is funded by the European Union’s Interreg Aurora programme, with matched national funding from the Regional Council of Lapland, Interreg Norge and the Luleå University of Technology.
