The Unified Database Management System (UDBMS) group works on database and data management fields. We focus especially on multi-model database management systems, semantic string processing and job optimization for big data platforms. Our vision is to develop algorithms and systems to store, manage, and process the continually growing and divergent data. The goal is to improve the usability as well as the performance of database and big data systems.
