The focus of our research is to investigate targetable genetic alterations in cancer to find oncogenic drivers and molecular markers that associate with drug sensitivity and resistance using different in vitro and ex vivo tumor models. Our group belongs to the Applied Tumor Genomics Research Program at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki. We are also providing next-generation sequencing and genomics technology services at the Biomedicum Functional Genomics Unit (FuGU), which is part of the HiLIFE Genome Analysis Infrastructure and Biocenter Finland Genome-Wide Methods network.
