Prof. Santos' Lab publishes a review paper in CHEMICAL SOCIETY REVIEWS (IF=40.4)

This was the first time Prof. Santos' Lab reached such high IF. This is a huge milestone in the group, after couple of Nature communications (IF=11.8) papers in 2020

The paper title: “Versatile Biomedical Applications of Bismuth-Based Nanoparticles and Composites: Therapeutic, Diagnostic, Biosensing, and Regenerative Properties

by Mohammad-Ali Shahbazi*, Leila Faghfouri, Mónica P. A. Ferreira, Patrícia Figueiredo, Hajar Maleki, Farshid Sefatd, Jouni Hirvonen, Hélder A. Santos*

This review emphasizes on the synthesis and state-of-the-art progress in biomedical applications of Bismuth nanoparticles with different structures, sizes, and compositions. Furthermore, a comprehensive discussion on the challenges and future opportunities are discussed and presented.
