In 2021, our group identified a novel immunodeficiency caused by haploinsufficiency in Helios.
This immunodeficiency was characterized by an overactivated immune system, loss of follicular helper T and MAIT cells in the circulation, and dysregulated germinal center reactions. You can find the full-text (pdf) version of our article here:
