Fungal Co-life, Omics and Ecophysiology

Eco-physiology including genomics, transcriptomics, metabolism, and interactions of wood-decaying forest fungi are our topics of research. By the aid of modern omics, we aim at opening fungal metabolic pathways and their regulation during degradation and conversion of plant biomasses and waste materials to value-added bioproducts. Specific interest is on fungi-bacteria interactions and sustainable production of microbial bioactive compounds in these systems.
