The Centre for Research on Ethnic Relations and Nationalism, CEREN, is a lively interdisciplinary research environment with cutting-edge research projects, active national and international networks, and collaboration with civil society and policy makers. CEREN carries out research on politics, policies and practices related to: (1) borders, mobilities, and labour; (2) race and (anti)racism; (3) postcolonialism, decoloniality, and indigeneity; (4) nationalism and the far right; and (5) migration, belonging, and citizenship.
