Developmental psychopathology and intervention studies

We focus on early developmental pathways from family-based risks and resilience on child development and effectiveness of perinatal, childhood and couple interventions on children and their caregivers. Our research is focused on the following areas: 1) Early family relationships and their role for child development 2) Early parenting interventions for families with perinatal mental health and substance use problems 3) Interventions aimed at high-risk children and adolescents and their caregivers 4) Attachment and mentalization in adults, children, and adolescents and 5) Couple dynamics and couple therapy interventions
