Registration
Registration is now open and closes on October 22nd. The symposium is open also to researchers not affiliated with The Centre of Excellence in Stem Cell Metabolism, MetaStem.

Poster session and abstract submission
We invite anyone working on stem cells, metabolism or related areas to present a poster. Posters are selected based on abstracts submitted with the registration by October 22nd. Presenters will be informed of the decision by October 29th.

The size of the poster boards are 98 cm (width) x 118 cm (height).
The poster boards are numbered and posters should be put up during the lunch break and taken down at the end of the poster session.

Venue
The Symposium is organized in Lecture Hall 1 of Biomedicum Helsinki 1 (P-floor), on the Meilahti campus. The poster session with refreshments and the coffee break takes place in the lobby just outside the lecture hall. Lunch for speakers is served at Faculty club, Biomedicum Helsinki 6th floor.

Address: Haartmaninkatu 8, Helsinki

Fees
Free of charge

Credits
Students who take part in either of our two seminar series, Stem Cell Seminars or Metabolism Seminars ILS-008, will collect "attendance points”, 3 for attending the symposium, 7 if you also present a poster. (10 attendance points = 1 ECTS, max 3 ECTS for the Stem Cell and Metabolism seminars). Both seminar series are open for anyone to attend. Please contact emilia.kuuluvainen[at]helsinki.fi to be added to the e-mail lists of either seminar series.

Poster presenters who do not wish to take part in the Stem Cell Seminars or Metabolism Seminars can also ask for a separate certificate of the poster presentation. Please contact emilia.kuuluvainen[at]helsinki.fi after the symposium.
