Agricultural Economics

About the Agricultural Economics Research Group

Our research group focuses on agricultural economics, food systems, and farm management, with the aim of understanding how agriculture can remain productive, resilient, and economically viable in a changing world. We study the interactions between markets, policy, technology, and environmental conditions, and how these shape decision-making at the farm and industry level and along the food value chain. With a focus on applied economic analysis, our research contributes to evidence-based policy design and supports the development of sustainable and competitive agricultural and food systems.

We teach production economics, business management, econometrics, policy and markets applied to agriculture as well as rural entrepreneurship.
