Doctoral Programme in Gender, Culture and Society

The Doctoral Programme in Gender, Culture and Society (SKY) is a multidisciplinary programme with links to all five faculties at the University of Helsinki City Centre Campus. The programme is an international hub for scholars with an interest in gender, sexuality, and feminist scholarship from all fields and disciplines in the humanities and social sciences.

6 new doctoral students are admitted each year. We're an international community, and the programme is multilingual: you can complete a degree in either Finnish, Swedish or English.
