Twinset Training

This program is developed to train participants in twin cylinder configuration and fundamental diving skills to improve diver capabilities in underwater research and safety. Subjects cover equipment configuration and setup, manifold isolation skills, core diving skills in twin cylinders and team communications over a three day period.

There are three spaces on each course.

Course Prerequisites

  • Minimum 18 years old
  • Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent
  • Computer Nitrox Diver or equivalent (can be added on the course for an extra fee)
  • 25 logged drysuit dives
  • Dive medical
  • Diving insurance

  • Advanced buoyancy, trim and propulsion
  • Valve shutdown skills
  • Team communications
  • Stage cylinder handling

Price

The cost for the program is 600 € (including VAT) and it covers all training, learning materials, twin and stage cylinder use, diving activities and certifications. Participants will need to cover accommodation and food while at the Tvärminne Zoological Station.

Twinset regulators, wing and primary light can also be rented with an additional fee of 100€.

Accreditation

After successful completion of the course participants will be issued FSDA Twinset training and TDI Intro to Tech certificates.
