Onni Talas grants to attend scientific diving courses at Tvärminne Zoological Station. The Finnish Scientific Diving Academy was established in autumn 2021 to revitalise the training of scientific divers in Finland. The goal is to create a leading first-class facility in cold water based scientific diving at Tvärminne Zoological Station.
Foundations of Scientific Diving Scholarships
Intended for students enrolled at any Finnish University to gain entry level dive training with the intention of applying it in scientific diving. These scholarship cover the course fees for the Foundations of Scientific Diving program which allows student to attend the full Occupational Scientific Diver of successful completion.

Occupational Scientific Diver Scholarship
Ten scholarships (5000€) are available for any student enrolled or enrolling at a Finnish University at any level looking to complete the Occupational Scientific Diver. The scholarship covers the course fees and a contribution towards living expenses during the course.
