Welcome to Lammi Biological Station – the perfect setting for networking and getting to know your colleagues.

We are located in a wonderful lake environment, offering a unique setting for groups of up to 120 people. Our station is ideal for both meetings and less formal events.

Thanks to our experience, we ensure smooth and professional meeting arrangements, and are always ready to provide assistance and advice. Facilities in a nutshell:

• A large lecture hall, maximum occupancy 120
• Eight smaller classrooms suited for groups of 8–35
• All seminar rooms are equipped with a projector, a desktop computer, and a flipchart and marker board.
• Approximately 45 poster locations
• A large dining room, maximum occupancy 120
• Residence halls, maximum occupancy 150
• A large lakeside sauna and two other saunas in the student hall of residence
• All residence halls and seminar rooms have a wireless network (HupNet and Eduroam)

Fees can be paid at our office in cash or with a debit or credit card: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard. Groups are subject to an invoicing surcharge.

Booking terms and conditions

• Preliminary bookings should be confirmed as soon as possible.
• Confirmed bookings can be cancelled free of charge no later than one month before the beginning of the seminar.
• If the booking is cancelled after this, the cancellation fee is €85. In the case of cancellations made within a week before the beginning of the seminar, the fee is €170.

A confirmed list of participants must be submitted to the office (lammi-info@helsinki.fi) two weeks before the seminar. At the same time, the participant’s special diets and dietary restrictions must be announced.

Fees will be charged in accordance with the list of participants. Absent participants are charged for half of the price, unless the absence is due to illness.
