Periferia - Forest Art Lab is a collection of works of art at Hyytiälä Forest Station, which has a strong tradition in forest management and environmental research. Curated by Ulla Taipale, the works are located in the station buildings and the surrounding forest woods and peatland.
In addition to its engaging combination of art and nature, the multidisciplinary art exhibition helps us understand where and how research on climate and forests is conducted. It gives behind-the-scenes insight into the long-term and research-based nature of academic and artistic work.
