Salla Kurhila

Salla Kurhila (project leader) is a Professor in Interactional Linguistics at the University of Helsinki. Her research interests include multilingual interaction, language learning in interaction, and interactional understanding and repair phenomena.

Lari Kotilainen

Lari Kotilainen (PhD, title of Docent) works as a University lecturer at the University of Helsinki. His teaching field is Finnish as a foreign language. His research interests include multilingual practices in work-life and second language learning in settings outside the classroom.

Inkeri Lehtimaja

Inkeri Lehtimaja (PhD, title of Docent) is a grant-funded researcher in the project. Her research interests lie especially in the field of using and learning Finnish at the workplace. Previously, she has studied nursing interaction and classroom interaction. She also holds a position as a University lecturer of Finnish at the Language Centre of Aalto University.

Johanna Komppa

Johanna Komppa (PhD, title of Docent) works as a University lecturer at the University of Helsinki. In the project, she works with the material aimed to support and enhance language learning at workplaces. Her research interests include language for specific purposes, language learning outside the classroom and digitalization in second language learning.

Eveliina Korpela

Eveliina Korpela (PhD) works with the material aimed to support and enhance language learning at workplaces. She is interested in second language learning in informal settings (e.g. in everyday life, at work) and language learning opportunities that everyday life offers. She also holds a position as a Senior Lecturer at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
